Free Surgeries for Citizens of Delhi At Private Hospitals

Considering the importance and significance of treatments and surgeries for the patients coming to the hospitals, Delhi government decided to serve the people in a human way irrespective of rich and poor and tied up with 41 private hospitals of Delhi. The list of hospitals is based on NABH accredited hospitals.

NABG has been set up to control the standard the medical treatments provided by the hospitals and health care services providers in the country, the main objective of the organization is to cater most important requirements of the patients to develop health industry in the country.

If a hospital wants to get NABG accreditation it is supposed to achieve 600 plus-objective points considered the backbone of the treatments and healthcare.

So if you are a resident of Delhi and wandering around for surgeries for months or years to undergo an urgent surgery, you no longer have to wait anymore in any government hospitals now.

Delhi government made a historic decision in favor of the citizens of Delhi. Anyone living in Delhi having a valid ID proof of address including Aadhaar card, voter Id card, Passport or any document authenticating your address, will be able to enjoy around 30 kinds of life saving surgeries.

The procedure is very simple to get the surgery done but, you are not allowed to take the facilities directly from any one of the private hospitals unless you are referred by any government hospitals or polyclinics.

If the government hospitals or policlinics consider any surgery important to treat your problems, they will refer you to the nearest hospitals or the standard prescribed by the government.

Patients are not required to pay anything to the private hospitals, as the treatments are free and government will compensate the concerned hospital; a patient will be provided free consultation, surgery, hospital stay and medicines, food etc.
