Tips for visa interview in simple way

Obtaining a visa of any country can become a nightmare if you don’t understand the importance of communication skills, especially when you are not able to speak in detail about your purpose. Hundreds of candidates are rejected visas because they are not able to convince the consular; before going for the interview, you must keep some important points in your mind. Following tips might be helpful for you but it doesn’t mean they are the parameters of obtaining visa.


Once you receive a call letter, read it a few times carefully and make a list of documents you are supposed to submit. All documents should be in English; otherwise, you will require getting them translated in the official language of the country you are applying visa for.

Translation should be certified by a translation agency. There are a very few translation agencies providing certified translation, Arabic, German, French, Czech etc.

Prepare all your documents before the interview. There are hundreds of candidates applying for visa each day, so nobody is going to wait for you if you miss the deadline. In addition, it will also create a negative impression for the interviewer.

You may require showing your original documents and if you have Xerox, they should be clear and readable.

Reasons for visa

There are many visa categories, you are not supposed to learn about each of them, but you must be well prepared about your visa and purpose. For example, if you are applying for student visa, you must know about university, college; the course you are applying for.

Culture is also very important. If you study basic points of culture about the country, it will be a plus point for you. Any country-issuing visa for you, doesn’t want you to settle down over there unless you fulfill some requirements, which are mandatory. So don’t say you want to settle down there. Don’t feel ashamed in saying you will come back once your education is complete as you want to serve the people of your country and you have love to your hometown.
