Famous US swimmer Ryan Lochte left Brazil but two other teammates were removed from the flight

Two famous American swimmers Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz have been in news after an alleged robbery incident in which they were robbed with two other fellows.


They were ordered not to leave Brazil till the further investigation is complete and police finds some clues and information about the driver and his car, they were travelling in.

Though they were not aware of any court order until they were removed from the flight for further questioning; they were ready to leave Rio.

According to USOC, the United States Olympic Committee, both the swimmers belong to a group of four swimmers; though they have left the country now after being questioned about the incidents and its detail.

After the robbery incident, Brazilian court issued a warrant to search and seize the passport of American Swimmer Ryan Lochte and other teammates.

According to Federal Police, Ryan Lochte had already left the Brazilian soil on Monday and disappeared through a commercial flight.

The police was not able to get access to him and retain him with two other fellows because he had already moved to the Unites States two days before the court order.

Though, among fast spreading rumors about the incident, Ryan Lochte disclosed to the world that he is not interested in making such stories, but he and other teammates have been victims of the incident.

Though there was some skepticism about the incident but Ryan Lochte said that when the police talked to him, he didn’t feel police have any doubt about the robbery statement registered with the police.

After the incident, the police reached the Olympic Village to meet the swimmers on Wednesday morning to register their statement and testimony regarding the alleged robbery.
