Social media has become a great tool for not only finding new people, interacting with them, posting images, reading comments etc, but it has become a great place to make a career. Companies post jobs advertisements on social networking sites, post slogans and banners to attract people and find new clients.
When we talk about social media, it sounds like the world is compressed too much that you can hold it in your hand. And of course it is just like that!
If you have any question, any doubt, you want to get any update about any topic, want to know what’s happening around the world, what is today’s breaking news etc, you will go to one place of your choice. It might be Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn or other sites.
Due to the popularity of social networking sites, companies provide a sharing button on their websites. If you like anything then you can share it on your account.
Companies want their consumers, clients to associate with them directly to work together but there is one hurdle which is very important.
Most of the websites and their content it not in regional languages. They don’t have any in-built translation option.
For example, if you search for anything of your choice on Google, most of the results will be in English. Suppose you want to know something about bypass surgery or its latest technology or anything else, most of the results will be in English.
Though Google provides an online translation service; for examples if you want to read anything it gives you option “Translate this page”, but the translation is very poor.
If the companies understand this point important then they should start providing information to the public in their regional languages so that more and more people can read and join them.
